This policy explains our expectations around cancellations, rescheduling, and nonattendance.
We require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with the required notice can be rescheduled or cancelled without charge.
If an appointment is cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or you do not attend your appointment, a fee may apply.
The applicable fee is 50% of the session fee.
Medicare rebates do not apply to cancellation or non-attendance fees.

Using the client portal, or
Contacting Candlewood Psychology via email
Please ensure cancellations are received within the required notice period (business hours)
We understand that unexpected situations can arise. Fees may be waived or altered at the discretion of the practice in exceptional circumstances.
Repeated late cancellations (2+) or missed appointments (2+) may impact our ability to continue offering ongoing appointments and may require a review of booking arrangements.
By booking and attending appointments with Candlewood Psychology, you acknowledge and agree to this cancellation policy.
